PlayStation has finally announced the release of their new PlayStation 5 console design, which will be released later this year for the upcoming holiday season. Being described as the PlayStation slim', the console will be much smaller and slimmer than the original console.

Is PS5 coming out with a new console?
The console will be smaller, reduced in volume by 30% and reduced in weight by 18% and 24% compared to previous models. The console design has been described as ‘a new form factor that provides greater choice and flexibility.’
Along with this, there will be an attachable Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive and a 1 TB SSD for more internal storage, the console will include four separate cover panels, with the top two boasting a glossy look and the bottom two maintaining the classic matte look.
Despite these changes, there are still some aspects of the console remain the same, mainly the technology features of the console.
When will the new PS5 model be available?
PlayStation fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on this console when it comes to the PlayStation 5 release date, in America, the console will be available in November. With a global release being estimated shortly after. It is also believed that once the old PS5 inventory has sold out, the new model will take its place as the official new console.
