PS Now’s new games for June are here, with several games now being able to be streamed and played as much as you want, for a limited period. These games will be available for multiple months for PlayStation Now users, and there is plenty to be played.

Some of you may be wondering, what is PS Now? Well, it is a subscription-based service that allows users to stream and play a large collection of games through PlayStation servers. PS Now allows you to play any game it has available whenever and wherever you want. Being able to stream PS Now games on any compatible device you want. Imagine it like a PS4 game pass, but rather than having to download the game, you can stream it instantly (you can also use PS Now on PS5).

This list of games on PS Now for June 2021 will quickly cover the games and what they are about. As for PS Now June 2021, it looks to be a mix of some highly rated games and a couple of unheard-of games. So, let’s jump into it.

 

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition:

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is the first of this month's new PS Now games, and is a very highly rated one. An open-world role-playing game that has a very rich and fascinating story that takes place in a beautiful universe that is affected by your decisions.

You can use a massive number of powerful weapons, useful potions for many different services, collect masses of loot, and make your own gear through crafting and alchemy.

In this wide-open world, you can face dangerous creatures, explore massive cities, delve into deep caverns and so much more. And with the game of the year edition, you will get the base game along with every single DLC available with the game. Including Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone and Witcher 3 Blood and Wine.

Witcher 3 Game of the Year edition is usually worth £35 on the PlayStation Store, but will be available with PS Now until September 6th 2021.

Team Sonic Racing:

In celebration of Sonic’s birthday, we have a few Sonic games available with PS Now. The first of them is Team Sonic Racing. You can race through numerous different worlds with customisable vehicles along with popular and iconic Sonic characters.

Team Sonic Racing is a competitive and super-fast paced racing game that you can play with your friends, or against AI. Where you take full control of your game and how you want to play.

Team Sonic Racing is normally worth £35 on the PlayStation Store.

 Pros: Cons:
  • Great team mechanics
  • Good variety of tracks
  • Sometimes driving can be unresponsive

 

Sonic Mania:

The second of the Sonic games being added to PS Now is Sonic Mania. An updated and smoothly running version of 2D Sonic games. You can play as any of your favourite characters in high-quality retro styled levels that are designed to give you those classic feels.

You can play with, or against, your friends thanks to the co-op and competitive modes available within the game. Along with classic modes where your face many new bosses and enemies.

Sonic Mania is normally valued at £16 on the PS Store, but is available on PS Now for a limited time.

  • Extremely repayable
  • Artwork is stunning
  • Lots of remastered stages not many new ones

 

Sonic Forces:

The last of the Sonic Games available this month with PS Now is Sonic Forces. A story-based game where you can play as Sonic or create your own hero and help Sonic in saving the world from Dr Eggman and his new army and allies.

You can enjoy very fast action in challenging levels and fun exploration while enjoying different gameplay styles.

Usually worth £35, you can stream and play it with PS Now from the creation of this blog.

  • Good speed and action
  • Movement flows well
  • Story can become dull

 

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown:

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is a new remake of the popular Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown from 2012, and is now available not only with PS Now, but also with PS Plus.

A brutal and incredibly smooth 60FPS 3D fighting game that you can both online against friends, or offline against AI. With new tournament styled modes and league matches that have a round-robin style. You can play with up to 16 players in private lobbies and enjoy combat as multiple different characters.

But you can also expect all of the classical features and characters that were made all those years ago. Perfected with stunning graphics and performance to ensure powerful gameplay.

  • Great addition to the franchise
  • Graphics are engaging and interesting
  • Some features feel too modern for game type

 

Slay the Spire:

Slay the Spire is the next and second to last game that will become available from June 1st on PS Now. Combining both roguelikes and card games to create a single game that has you create a wide deck of cards, face unique and dangerous creatures to beat the spire.

You must climb and make you way up the spire, encountering different challenges and enemies, while also gathering hundreds of different cards. The spire and its levels change every single time you play, making your experience feel fresh every time.

Slay the Spire normally worth around £20 on the PlayStation Store, and available to be played until December 6th 2021.

  • Great designed combat
  • Interesting gameplay
  • Poor selection of enemies

 

Car Mechanic Simulator:

The last game that will be made available with PS Now from June is Car Mechanic Simulator. As stated, it is clearly a simulator game where you get to repair and change cars, along with a number of other gameplay features. Such as car auctions, expanding your business and so much more.

It features a great number of different cars, with over 40 available, multiple useful tools and thousands of parts.

Car Mechanic Simulator is normally available on the PS Store for around £25.

  • Entertaining and repayable
  • Not too difficult
  • Occasional bugs
