With 2024 now officially in full swing it’s clear that the video game selection isn’t slowing down either. We are back yet again with 4 of the most anticipated video game releases for March 2024. From horror to family favourites, we cannot wait to show you what’s in store… literally! Let’s get exploring and discover what is the next big game in 2024.
The Outlast Trials:
First up on our list of March 2024 video game releases is The Outlast Trials, which will be available from March 5th on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC. It is one of the many upcoming horror video games of 2024 and is set during the Cold War, human guinea pigs are recruited to test advanced methods of brainwashing and control and it’s up to the player to avoid enemies, run away and escape whilst completing various missions.
If you are a gaming fan who loves a good challenge, this game is perfect for challenging the player's morals, fears, and violence.
Paint the Town Red VR:
Next up is one of the first VR video games to release in 2024, Paint The Town Red VR. Releasing March 14th, 2024, this fighting, role-playing game will be available on PS5 and Meta Quest where players will shoot, smash, and slash their way through hoards of blocky enemies in a first-person combat adventure!
It has been a very highly anticipated VR game recently, as a VR edition of this game has never been created before in the 9-year span that the game has been released. If you are interested in an immersive bloody-knuckled brawler that adds a roguish VR spin then we know the perfect game for you!
Princess Peach: Showtime:
Of course, Nintendo are releasing more Super Mario games for Switch in March 2024, a month later since the release of Mario Vs Donkey Kong in February 2024, however, this one is slightly different. Princess Peach: Showdown is one of the first Mario universe games where Princess Peach is her main leading character in a game, creating wide anticipation.
The game will be released on 22nd March 2024 on the Switch of course and is an action-adventure game. Peach has to save the day when the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch show up at the Sparkle Theatre and take the central stage. This game seems like a fun family game, and we certainly cannot wait to give this game a review when it eventually releases!

Dragon's Dogma 2:
And our final choice for the most anticipated games of 2024 is Dragons Dogma 2 releasing also on March 22nd, 2024. In the open world, action role-playing game players take on the role of Arisen, a hero who is marked by a dragon they must defeat whilst also exploring the world. Dragons Dogma 2 challenges players to choose their own experience through the game whilst they also take on side quests and fight other monsters.
With this game releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, we cannot wait to see what it’s like once available!
