PlayStation Plus’s free games of April 2021 have been revealed, allowing PS Plus subscribers to get themselves three games that they can keep. With one game for PlayStation 5 and two for PlayStation 4, players can treat themselves to three fun and unique experiences.
Oddworld: Soulstorm
Releasing on the 6th of April, Oddworld Soulstorm is the first free game of April. Made for PS5 users, Oddworld Soulstorm serves as a sequel to 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty. You continue playing as Abe, who has become a hero and a beacon of hope, on a journey to save his fellow Mudokons. Experience an entertaining “2.9D” platforming game, where you can sneak your way past your enemies, or salvage parts to craft weaponry to fight your opponents head on. Avoid environmental hazards, use mystical powers and explore hidden and wonderful lands. This game fully releases, as said, on the 6th of April and would cost you around £45. But you can get it for free, as long as you are subscribed to PlayStation Plus.
Days Gone
Jump into the huge open-world action-adventure tale of Days Gone. You play as Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter trying to survive the zombie infested world of America. Known as “Freakers,” creatures will hunt you down and attempt to kill you in an ever-changing environment. To ensure that you can survive the brutal encounters of Freakers, you must scavenge abandoned settlements for weapons and items that you can use to survive, or trade. You can experience a powerful story in a world that is both lethal and beautiful. Normally available for around £55, and releasing in April 2019, you can get this game now with PS Plus.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War
Another zombie game available with PlayStation Plus: Zombie Army 4. Play on PS4 or PS5 against Hitler’s hordes of Hell in an epic shooter that takes place in 1940s Europe. Play with up to 4 other people in a campaign where you fight to save the world from this deadly threat. Gather and upgrade powerful weapons, or engage the undead with enhanced melee combat. This game is usually worth around £40 and released in early 2020, but you can get it now, for nothing, if you have PS Plus.
